Maintaining Connections during quarantine

Social distancing as a result of COVID-19 has made flexibility more important than ever for volunteers and the children they serve. Children are isolated and their families’ health and well-being may be at additional risk.

But our CASA volunteers are endlessly creative and are going to great lengths to find ways to stay connected with the children they serve. One of our CASAs, Allison has shared with us what she is doing to maintain contact with and provide support to her CASA kids.

Allison Shared: “I was able to finally visit two teenage siblings at their foster home today…

I brought spray paint and we did an outside art project while social distancing. I thought I would teach them something, but the older kid was better at it than me! Here are two of his paintings.”
